Chicken dumplings sold at Trader Joe's are being recalled because they might contain pieces of plastic.
Officials say over 61-thousand pounds of the Trader Joe's Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings are being recalled because they could have plastic from a permanent marker pen. The product was produced in December, but consumers might still have it in their freezers. Trader Joe’s said in a statement "We are recalling Trader Joe's Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings (SKU# 54988) with the best by date 03.07.25 and lot code C1-1 or C1-2 due to the potential presence of foreign material (plastic).” The chicken dumplings should not be eaten. This is the 6th recall this year for the retailer.
